How does ProjectSpring work ?
ProjectSpring is a Services Marketplace. IT Employers / Buyers can find talent to do
their projects or to fill part-time positions. Its absolutely FREE for both Buyers and
Service Providers (Programmers). IT
Employers / Buyers simply post the job as a project. Service Providers who wish to do
the project place bids, indicating the asking price for completing the project. At
the end of the bidding, Employer/Buyer can award the project to any Service Provider
who bids for the project. Employers / Buyers are allowed to contact the Service
Provider before awarding the project (the email addresses of the Service Providers
can be seen by the Buyer).
How much does it cost ?
It is absolutely Free for both IT Employers / Buyers as well as Service Providers /
Programmers. There are no hidden costs
associated.
I am a Service Provider - how does ProjectSpring work for me ?
Here is how ProjectSpring works for Service Providers :
- Search and Bid for projects that match your expertise
- The project will appear in your InBox (under MyPortfolio)
- You can see the Buyer contact information by clicking on the project from your InBox
- Contact the Buyer directly and decide on the work and payment schedules your self - you are in control
- Complete the project and get paid directly (from the Buyer)
- Buyers can raise and RFQ / RFP from your Service store
- Your Service store will be linked from the bids that you place
I am an Employer / Buyer - how does ProjectSpring work for me ?
All services are Free for Buyers. Here is how ProjectSpring works for Employers / Buyers :
- Post project and Service Providers from all over the world will bid to do the work
- You can manage your project from MyProjects (under MyPortfolio)
- See the contact information of Service Providers by clicking the project name
- Use the contact information to get clarifications and get in touch with Service Provider
- Award the project to one of the Service Providers after you have decided on a winner
- Work with the Service Provider directly and decide on the work and payment schedules your self - you are in control
- Get the completed project and pay the Service Provider directly
- If you want to directly contact a Service Provider without posting a project simply search for Service Stores and raise an RFQ / RFP
- ProjectSpring offers a FREE way to find Quality Talent from around the world
Is it really Free for buyers or are there any hidden costs ?
Its totally FREE for Employers / Buyers. No hidden costs are there. You are
welcome to post projects and get no obligation bids from Service Providers.
You can even contact them before you decide who you want to award the project to.
How do I post a project ?
First you have to register.
Then click the Post Project tab from the top menu. Enter as much information as you can -
please provide accurate information as this will allow the Service Providers to
place correct bids. Click the Submit Project button. Thats all - you will start
getting bids for project. You can monitor your project from MyPortfolio -> MyProjects.
How do I contact Service Providers who bid for my project ?
You can monitor your project from MyPortfolio -> MyProjects. You can see the Service
Provider contact email along with the bids. You can contact the service
providers to get clarifications on the bids. We suggest you award the project
through the system as that will allow you to rate the Programmer at the end of the project.
How do I award the project ?
Go to MyPortfolio -> MyProjects. Click the Award link which appears beside
your project. Select the Service Provider whom you wish to award the project
to and click the Award Project button. Click the Award Project button on the
confirmation screen. An email will be sent to the Service Provider intimating
him about the project. You will receive an email once the Service Provider
accepts the project.
How do I pay the Service Provider ?
You have to take care of all payments to the Service Provider. ProjectSpring.com
is not responsible for the payments and the deliverables. You are advised to
work out the details before the project starts with the Service Provider.
How can I bid for a project ?
Click the project name, enter your bid details, confirm the bid. Thats it. You can see
the list of project by choosing the Bid for Projects option in the top menu.
How do I know if I win the Project ?
You will receive an email if you win the project. The project will also
appear in your InBox. You have to accept the project and you will be
prompted to do so.
Is there a Transaction fee for projects which I accept ?
No. There is no Transaction fee if you win a project.
What is Service Store ?
Service Store allows you to sell your services at ProjectSpring.com.
It is a cheap way of reaching out
to buyers from around the world. It comes with the Premium Provider plan. You can
update or delete Service Store from MyPortfolio -> MyServiceOffers option.
How do I add / update my Service Store ?
You can manage your Service Store from MyPortfolio -> MyServiceOffers option. There is a
update or delete link which you can use to manage your entry.
How will Buyer contact me ?
Buyers will contact you in two ways.
1. If you bid for projects then your contact email is available to the Buyer. Buyers are allowed to contact
you to get clarifications before awarding the project.
2. Buyers can also contact you through your Service Store. Buyers are allowed to directly raise
a RFQ / RFP which will be sent to you along with the buyer details. We suggest you setup your
Service Store as it increases your chances of being found - Service Stores can be searched using the
Search feature.
How will I get paid ?
All payments will have to be handled directly with the Buyers. You are responsible for all
payments that you receive and ProjectSpring is not responsible for any actual transactions that take
place between you and the Buyer.
